Sure, just pad the right side instead of the left and then position the image on the far side:

    color: #52bab3;
    text-decoration: none;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-size: 18px 18px;
    padding-right: 25px;           /* right instead of left */
    background-position: right 0;  /* move image to the end */
}
