I can't seem to sort the first answer to this one. I've tried using w3 schools and running through the different DOM methods: document.getElementsByTagName('nav'); document.querySelectorAll('nav')
Can anyone help?
let navigationLinks = document.getElementById('nav');
let galleryLinks;

33,990 PointsHi Sam, one method you could use is:
var navigationLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('nav')[0].getElementsByTagName('a');
getElementsByTagName
gives us an array of the elements with the tag name, in this case nav
, we know we want the first instance of nav (the only instance in this case) so we grab it by selecting it with [0], we can then use the same getElementsByTagName
method on this element to return the list of links
Hope that helps!!

11,850 PointsThe challenge wants you to collect all the links in the navigationLink variable, which are the <a> tags, not the <nav> tags.
let navigationLinks = document.getElementById('nav').querySelectorAll("li");
