<!DOCTYPE html5> Why not start an html document by calling it out as html5 specifically since that's what we're using?

I know in some future point we'll be using html 6 & 8, but since we're writing code with assumptions now about how the rules will affect the code, all of which are specific to html5... why isn't it better practice to name our docs with that in mind?

Hey Heather,

With HTML5, the declaration is simply <!DOCTYPE html>. There's no need to specify the version of HTML.
