I'm not 100% sure on aria stuff. I guess as it's creating actual HTML then a screenreader user would come across it when they refresh so it wouldn't need one. Maybe we could add a heading for the messages if there are any? That way if someone's skipping through content by heading they'd know it was there, I guess.
