Do not know what I am doing wrong?

I am confused, it is saying: Bummer! I do not see a key named mike

Remove the brackets from your $favorite_colors variable:

$favorite_colors = array(
  "mike" => "green",
  "jane" => "blue",
  "chris" => "red"
);
