4,297 PointsDo I really need to buy web hosting and domain to do this course or is there an alternative?
I am making a blog for a guy I know. WordPress Development is my best bet right now. I know my HTML and CSS that I can make my own site by now, but I don't know how to make an interactive blog that people can comment and the comments can be approved. So do I HAVE to buy hosting and domain to do this course? Thank You.

10,830 PointsYou would learn more by buying hosting and a domain, but there is a free service that could be a good compromise.
This website will provide you with a server that can run Wordpress.

Courses Plus Student 46,022 PointsThere is an alternative; you can complete the course perfectly fine if you develop locally. In fact, Zac has a course on just that.

Treehouse Guest TeacherYou can get by doing it all locally, but at some point you will need a server to learn and practice how to migrate sites.
