Python Python Basics (2015) Shopping List App Break

Didn't find the right items being printed

Basically makes no sense. I've tried everything.

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    for i in items:
        if items == 'STOP':
            break
        else:
            print(items)

items is the collection, i is each element in the collection. so you're not checking to see if the entire collection is stop, but one item. likewise, you want to print each item, not the entire collection.

Ok, I changed items to i and it worked. However, in the earlier challenge, I used "print(items)" and the challenge passed. Thank you either way

i would say that is due to a bug and should not have passed. try both ways in your shell with a short list.

Ok. Thanks a lot bro

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for i in items:
        print(items)

This challenge passes
