Are you keeping the original del statement from Task 1?

messy = [5, 2, 8, 1, 3]
del messy[2]  # remove index 2: 8
del messy[1] # remove index 1: 2

You are on the right track. The challenge is looking for the "8" to be deleted. It is at index 2.
