current version of Android Studio (3.1) no longer supports command "compile"

When I copied the code from the okhttp website to use in my gradle build file and then tried to run a gradle sync, I was given the error message "configuration 'compile' is obsolete." A quick comparison against the other pre-included dependent api's and it seems that now the system is using '"implementation" instead of "compile."

I suppose this isn't really a question, but it's a change I noticed that affected whether my project would build and run, and no one else has mentioned this.

Hey, Grant! We all noticed)) But the Android Studio automatically changes "compile" to "implementation", so it's not a big deal, isn't it? Did you have trouble because of this change?

I'm pretty sure I have the latest version, it says I'm running version 3.1.1, but mine did not automatically change it. It gave me a build error, telling me that 'compile' is obsolete, and I had to do some searching to find out what the current version uses instead.
