15,391 PointsSorry for late reply, I think you do not need to put [android:background="@android:color/white"] for text view.
Defining only the text color will work for that, see your error :
<TextView
android:textColor="white"
android:background="@android:color/white" />
The background color needs to be updated for relative layout. So
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:background="#colorcode" >
just replace the color code with your color ID. I tested it.
