CSS Styling- Padding and Margin trouble.

In the CSS file, use the class to give both <a> tags 15px of padding and 10px of margin.

I took some time off HTML and CSS lessons and wondering what I am doing wrong when trying to add padding or margin to the CSS .social-links rule

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>List Example</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <a class="social-links" href="#">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
    <a class="social-links" href="#">Send me an Email!</a>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
.social-links {

}

Hi, I don't see your attempt. All I see is :

.social-links {

}

Hey Jamie,

Thank you this was the snip of code I initially wrote but I was told: "bummer you need to set the 'class' attribute of the second <a> element to "social-links".

This was the reason it didn't go through.

Margin: w3school CSS Margins Padding: w3school CSS Margins

//Margin Example
p {
  margin: 25px;
}

//Padding example
div {
  padding: 25px;
}

.social-links { margin: 10px; padding: 15px; }
