WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Customizing WordPress Themes How to Make Child Themes

css files in creating a child theme

When I reach the part of the course where Zac opens his style.css file it doesn't remotely resemble the css file I'm looking at (from the twentythirteen theme). The file I have has the commented area at the top (entirely different, with no template line), but then it also has all the live css below that. Am I opening the correct file? Do I need to create a new one for the child folder? I'm working from a fresh WP download made on 2-12-14.

Ok, I found the downloaded demo file. Sorry for the mixup.
