Java Web Development Techdegree Graduate 30,124 PointsYou did it correct, just in the wrong order. When you call square, you need to call the function outside of the function declaration. Also, you need to assign the result of square(3) to a variable named result. So , your code would like this:
def square(number):
return number ** 2
result = square(3)
