6,315 PointsCourses still updated?
Hello,
Are the courses of teamtreehouse still up to date?
I see a lot of content that's outdated like floats. I pay a lot of money for the courses, but not for outdated stuff.
Friendly regards,
Frans de Haan

11,850 PointsNew courses come out on the newest subjects, for instance there is a CSS Grid course, but old classes aren't updated. That said, I would caution against not learning floats just because they're somewhat outdated, your still likely to run in to them for various reasons.

14,940 PointsRight, and I believe there are still arguments FOR them. CSS Grid expert Rachel Andrew still uses floats. See also: Smashing Magazine - Floats/Flexbox/Grid. It is unfortunate that the older courses couldn't at least put a subtitle saying something like "Modern page layout is now completed with CSS Grid. This section is optional. If you like, jump to the CSS Grid course instead."
