we are in 2018 and the courses are from 2016 to android and that is why they give me many errors. I'm more down to fixing bugs instead of doing these courses. I'm thinking of unsubscribing from these courses.

Treehouse TeacherWhich courses are you having trouble with? We currently have two teachers working on refreshes of Build a Weather App, Android Lists and Adapters, and Data Persistence. They won't be ready to publish for a little while, but we recognize that some of the material has aged and is causing some problems for students. It's difficult to stay 100% on top of a topic like Android that is rapidly changing on a regular basis.
I know this isn't exactly what you want to hear, but it can still be very helpful to work through older material. Despite some of the hurdles and frustrations, most or all of the conceptual stuff is still accurate and useful, and is actually the most important stuff to master. Part of being a professional developer is being able to dust off older projects and bring them up to speed with tool and library changes. And for things that change, it's an opportunity to investigate and understand why they were changed.

3,788 PointsI was just about to complain about the same thing. All the Java courses are outdated, it's difficult to keep up. I spend more time trying to fix an updated code than learning. After a while I just give up and go back to some good old Youtube.
It's 2020, please update the courses. I came here to learn not to get frustrated.
