PHP PHP Basics PHP on the Web Date Function

Correct String for Formatting?

What is the correct string for formatting in this example? I wrote the date, month, and year exactly as the question asked.

index.php
<?php
echo 'Today is ';
//Place your code below this comment
echo date('F' . " " . 'd' . ", " . 'Y');
?>

Despite your code outputting the correct string, you've just got to format the date correctly. There's no need to break down your date function as much as you have. What the task is looking for is this:

<?php
echo 'Today is ';
//Place your code below this comment

echo date('F d, Y');
?>

You can read loads more about the PHP Date function here as it can get quite complicated depending on what you're trying to achieve -> http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

That is a lot less clunky, lol. Thank you!
