Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

how do i solve this code

continents = [
    'South America',
    'North America',
for continent in continents:
    if continents[0] = = 'A':
        print ("*"  + continent)

Hi Luke!

You have the right idea (so close)!

3 issues, though:

1) You want continent[0] not continents[0]

2) You need a space after the asterisk

3) You want == not = = (lose the space)

I hope that helps.

Stay safe and happy coding!
