Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

continents assignement

ran into some trouble with the continents coding assignment task 2

continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]

for continent in continents:
    print("* " + continent)
if continent[0] == "A":
    print("* " + continent)

You're getting close, here are a few hints:

  • everything that is part of a loop must be indented
  • you'll only need one conditional test ("if")
  • you'll also only need one "print" statement

Thank you very much good sir, i was scratching my head for an hour shuffling every line etc etc, and i came to a line of code that i was confident that was right, but it wasnt. then i red this and removed the first print statement, now would u look at that, it worked xD
