contact form plugin doesn't work

I created my own theme, and tried to use several different contact form plugins. When I click "send", it shows "message sent successfully", but I don't get any mails.

Do I need to do anything with my theme so it will support plugins? What the problems could it be?

I tried to google, but had no luck!

I have been frustrated for 2 days. Help Please!

I tired to use a different theme - twenty sixteen. I also tried to reinstall wordpress. This time contact form 7 shows error. Another contact form plugin nm form doesn't work either. It shouldn't be my host problem. Because I have another website has no problems with this.

Is it the wordpress version? It is 4.5.3

Hi,

I use ninja forms most of the time but most need the same settings, under the plugin settings is there a bit of info needed to set up where to send the emails to?

Usually you would need to create the success message and give it the credentials for were to send the info.

Hope this helps Craig

There should be a settings section you can go into to set up an email account with your forms. I use Gravity Forms and its solid. Find the settings page and see if there is any email et up with your forms, if not I would suggest you try Gravity Forms out.
