conditional statements

Add a conditional statement that tests if the value in the variable a is greater than the value in variable b. If it is, pop up an alert with the message 'a is greater than b'; also add an else clause that pops up the message 'a is not greater than b'.

script.js
var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if (a < b)
else{a is not greater than b};
alert('a is greater than b');
index.html

  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

<body>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

The correct if else structure is

if (/* condition to check */) {
  // do something
} else {
  // do something else
}

Hope this helps

try this. look at your if statement again and review the correct syntax. This will help solve your problem.

var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if (a > b) {
    alert('a is greater than b');
} else {
alert('a is not greater than b');}
