Conditional Statement in WP?

Was i close? : p

So if the user didn't input the adress email, it will not show the li tag, but if it had, it will show it.

Or, was i far? This code doesnt work, im pretty sure, its messed up.

 <?php if ($adress_email) ?>
                  <li>Adress Email: <span class="orange"><?php echo $adress_email; ?></span></li>
               <?php elseif !($adress_email;) {

               } ?>
               <?php endif; ?>

not sure if the statement does what you want. perhaps try:

if($address_email != ""){ // if address_email NOT EQUALS empty show stuff }
