5,366 Pointscode not working in workspaces but works in visual studio
I put my current code in visual studio. I tweaked it by wrapping the try/catch blocks in a while loop and the program worked as expected but it did not execute in workspaces. Can anyone help
using System;
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Program
{
static void Main()
{
try
{
Console.Write("Enter the number of times to print \"Yay!\": ");
string input = Console.ReadLine();
int count = int.Parse(input);
if(count < 0)
{
Console.WriteLine("You must enter a positive number.")
continue;
}
int i = 0;
while (i < count)
{
i += 1;
Console.WriteLine("Yay!");
}
}
catch (FormatException)
{
Console.WriteLine("You must enter a whole number.");
}
}
}
}

231,210 PointsVS complied this without error? Odd, since "continue" (line 18) is only allowed inside loops. And the line above it is missing a semicolon.
But the good news is that once you fix those, it will pass the challenge.

5,366 PointsI wrapped the try/catch blocks in a while loop in VS and Workspaces. It worked fine in VS but gave an error in Workspaces.

231,210 PointsIf you add an outer loop the behavior will no longer comply with the instructions. Successful or not, the validator is expecting the program to end after getting one input.
But your code here only needs that semicolon and the "continue" removed to pass.
