CMD+OPT+J immediately closes, any recommendations for help?

I am using a Mac with the most up to date version of Chrome. When using the CMD+OPT+J it will pop up on the right hand side of the screen, then immediately close. Any recommendations to resolve this issue?

On my Mac the shortcut is CMD+OPT+C not J. Hope that helps!

You can access the console in Chrome from the menu bar by going to View > Developer > JavaScript Console

The keyboard shortcut to open the console is also the shortcut to close the console. Have you tried holding the keys down for less time?
