599 PointsChromebook HTML question
I am using a chromebook. I also use the Caret text editor.
I created 2 html pages and put them in the same folder. Being a chromebook these are saves in my google drive but accessed on the computer as if it were a hard drive.
When interlinking pages the links in my documents just open a blank page.
Does anybody know a fix for this?

3,781 PointsThe following link may be what you are needing. There is a comment from user "prac" that may work. I have not tested it. The way Google references documents is not very user-friendly for web development.

A more practical approach is to just get a hosting account to use as your development environment. Then FTP your files to that hosting account. If you want to keep the files private you can just password protect the directory where you store the files.

19,302 PointsI don't know the precise answer. If you are using relative URLs, though, you could see if your text editor has suggestions for how to link to other pages in your html pages. It could be something as small as a forward slash. (Also, Google might have some help section you can go to for info about writing html files on a Chromebook.)
