Hi everyone Im stuck on the @media-screen and the( min-width:480px;) { body { background: navy;} } when I do this it still asks for me to change the background to navy any help would be great john

Philip's answer is correct but there is also no need for "the" or dash between @media and screen:

@media screen and ( min-width: 480px) { 
  body { 
    background: navy;
  } 
}

I presumed the 'the' was there in a vernacular way. :)

Try removing the semi-colon from the @media bracket after 480px; Did this help?
