Then add the following to styles.css:
h1 {
color: purple;
}

So this:
<p>Welcome to My Web Page!</p>
Should become this:
<h1>Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>
Then you can properly style the h1 tag with the purple color in your CSS file like this:
h1 {
color: purple;
}
