HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Getting Familiar with HTML and CSS Test: Changing the Look of a Web Page

Change the color of the h1 tag to purple.

I have reviewed the video and can not seem to work out why my it will not change the text to purple.

Try the following....

1 - change the class name of your <h1> tag to "welcome" (no spaces)

<h1 class="welcome">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>

2 - Make sure you use the "." (period) before the tag name in CSS to select a class.

.welcome {
     color: purple;
}
