The property you're looking for is the box-sizing
property. This property controls what other properties are affected when the width and height of the element are changed. To see which value you need to set this to, check out this MDN article: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/box-sizing Remember that the MDN is your friend and to always look up things!
Also, I am not sure where all those other properties came from but this was my code at the end except for the comment of course =D
