Lines 2 and three are not required for this challenge. You have successfully created a name variable, and then the next part of the challenge asks you to assign the string "Treehouse loves {}" to a new variable; subject and then use the format() method, passing in the name variable:

name = "Jon"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
