Cant pass

How is incorrect? Code: var id = "23188xtr"; var lastName = "Smith"; var userName = id.toUpperCase(); userName += "#" + lastName.toupperCase;

Hi Gayle,

I can't see your code. Can you post what you're trying for the challenge?

My code is:

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase();
userName += "#" + lastName.toUpperCase;

I fixed your code formatting for you.

Here's a thread that shows you how to post code: https://teamtreehouse.com/forum/posting-code-to-the-forum

You don't have the parentheses on .toUpperCase for your last line.

You're welcome!
