Can't get the prompt box

Trying to link script.js to html but can't get the prompt box to pop out.

script.js is under js file

Maybe you are using an Adblocker with blocks popup windows.

The code might be using alert, which generates a modal dialog.
Modals are essential operational elements and shouldn't be counted as "pop-up windows" by correctly coded software.
