Cannot see the wood from the trees with Understanding filepaths.. article and index files..

I keep programming in the wrong pages because they look so alike and have hardly any difference between them... i have gone through treehouse html5 by Matt West no problem using visual studio code...

Is there any way to change the looks of this white bland pages to denote one from the other?

I know people might say look at the filenames but i never had this problem with 10 pages open in visual studio code
