12,810 PointsCannot install WordPress Locally... pls help
Hi developers, After following the steps shown on the tutorial, when I get to the WordPress installation via phpMyAdmin I get this message: "The file 'wp-config.php' already exists. If you need to reset any of the configuration items in this file, please delete it first. You may try installing now.", then when clicking on "installing now", it shows a message like "You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.", then finally, when I'm about to login into my WordPress account I get: "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
Any help is appreciated. Tks!

and install WP with this database.

12,810 PointsThanks for the response. However, it did not let me rename the same user, so I deleted it and created again one with the same info, then when I clicked on the localhost link, Wordpress showed the same message "you don't have permission...". ;(
