36,427 PointsHi Karl!
This works just fine:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
<h2>Append Child</h2>
<ul id="myList">
<li>One</li>
<li>Two</li>
</ul>
<script>
let myList = document.getElementById("myList");
let li = document.createElement('li');
li.textContent = "Three";
myList.addEventListener('click', () => {
myList.appendChild(li);
});
</script>
</body>
</html>
Go here:
https://www.w3schools.com/js/tryit.asp?filename=tryjs_array
And paste/replace the code in the left pane, run it and click the list (in the right pane)...
Three should become the third list item.
That should get you further along...
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!
