WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Customizing WordPress Themes How to Make Child Themes

can this procedure be done with all the themes? I'm having problems with one of my websites :S It breaks it.

Everything seems to be fine, but as soon as I activate the child theme the wordpress freezes and then I can not access the website anymore.

What theme are you using please?

Can you let us know what you have added in to the child theme folder and what the style sheet Meta information contains please so we can take a look at the issue?
