can somebody tell me what "You need to set the border color for <p> elements to red." what does that mean?

It looks like you had the right idea about the border, but you have some syntax and other issues:

  • the instructions ask you to add the class to the existing paragraph, not create a new paragraph
  • the opening P tag with the class isn't complete, it's missing the ">" symbol
  • the CSS file has a stray "}" symbol before the selector
  • the border rule should target all <p> elements, not just the one with the class
