Can I write my own file from scratch rather than adjust the existing one?

I can write it - and I can save it, just can't seem to view it in the browser button (which instead just brings up the original file Arrgh

Has anyone had similar issue?

Sure, just select all, delete? so long as the stuff you want is in a file called index.html it should work fine?
