36,427 PointsHi Jacquelyn!
All they want you to do is target the ul's list items and assign that collection to the listItems variable.
You don't have to change any of the rest of the code.
Hint:
var listItems; // Target the right DOM elements and assign them to this variable
var colors = ["#C2272D", "#F8931F", "#FFFF01", "#009245", "#0193D9", "#0C04ED", "#612F90"];
for(var i = 0; i < colors.length; i ++) {
listItems[i].style.color = colors[i]; // This code already sets each color to each listItem in that assigned collection
}
In other words, the whole challenge is just coding the first line correctly.
That should get you further along...
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!
