Can I build an android app using only java/ kotlin and no xml

So I'm learning java for android development at the moment but I'm not good at designing the UI for my app with XML, had the same problem with CSS when I tried web development.

I prefer to just be on the logic side of things I'm not the design kind of person so I was wondering if there's a way that I could just do the java side and the UI side of thing would get done by maybe a prebuilt template or something like that.
