calling printf method to print name

the questions asks me to call the print f method to show the string variable for my name. my code:

console.printf("%s\n", firstName);

can someone tell me where i'm going wrong?

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName ="Michael";

console.printf("%s\n",firstName);

Hi there, there is nothing wrong with your code it is formatted correctly, however in this specific challenge they are asking that you have the console print a specific message:

String firstName ="Michael";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!",firstName);

Just make sure to read the challenges carefully as they are very specific sometimes!
