CSS CSS Basics (2014) Enhancing the Design With CSS Media Queries

Bummer! Did you specify the correct font size for '.title'? Task Challenge 2 of 2. See CSS Style sheet for detail.

What is wrong with the .title { font-size: 1.5rem;} ??

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

@media (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
    background: tomato;
    color: white;
  }

@media (max-width: 768px) {
 .title {
  font-size: 1.4rem;
  }
 h1 {
  font-size: 5rem;
 }

Challenge Task 2 of 2

Next, create a new media query that targets all devices when the viewport width is 768px or narrower.
Inside the media query, target the .title element and set the font-size to 1.4rem.
Finally, target the h1 element and set its font-size to 5rem.

  I keep receiving: Bummer! Did you specify the correct font size for '.title'?
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>

        <div class="primary-content">
            <p class="intro">
                Lake Tahoe is one of the most breathtaking attractions located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
            </p>
            <a class="callout" href="#more">Find out more</a>
        </div><!-- End .primary-content -->
  </body>
</html>

You're just forgetting your closing bracket for your media queries:

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

@media (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
    background: tomato;
    color: white;
  }
} /* Here*/

@media (max-width: 768px) {
  .title {
    font-size: 1.4rem;
  }
  h1 {
    font-size: 5rem;
  }
} /* Here*/

Hi, Thanks for speedy reply.

I added the closing bracket: @media (max-width: 768px) { .title { font-size: 1.4rem; } h1 { font-size: 5rem; } Received the SAME "Bummer" reply.

Looks correct with the closing bracket. Perhaps a bug in error-trapping??

Did you add in the missing closing bracket on line 8 for the first media query?

Closing bracket on first media query was the solution! Thank you very much!
