CSS CSS Basics (2014) Enhancing the Design With CSS Media Queries

Bummer! Did you specify the correct font size for '.title'?

CSS Basics, Step 14, Challenge Task 2 of 2

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
@media (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
    background: tomato;
    color: white;
  }

@media (max-width: 768px) {
 .title {
  font-size: 1.4rem;
  }
 h1 {
  font-size: 5rem;
 }
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>

        <div class="primary-content">
            <p class="intro">
                Lake Tahoe is one of the most breathtaking attractions located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
            </p>
            <a class="callout" href="#more">Find out more</a>
        </div><!-- End .primary-content -->
  </body>
</html>

Task challenge says: Create a media query that targets all devices when the viewport width is 1020px or less. Inside the media query, select the .main-header element. Set the background color to tomato and the text color to white.

You have a similar setup media query set up at the bottom of your style.css.

@media (max-width: 768px) { .title { font-size: 1.4rem; } h1 { font-size: 5rem; }

Basically what you need to do is modify the initial statement by changing how many pixels are checked. Select the main-header class with the class selector ., and then the text color to white

@media (max-width: *Your px here*)  {
    .main-header {
        *Your background color*
        *Your text color*
    }
