"Bummer: Did you specify the correct font size for the h1?"

I have to set the h1 element font size to 5rem. what am i doing wrong?

you have used ".h1" which is a class selector and won't work for h1 as it is a html tag and not a class. to write a rule for h1 you just need to use "h1 {}" If you wanted to use a class selector to pick the h1 shown in the index.html you have to use ".main-heading". But it sounds like the exercise wants you to use the html tag h1.
