Bummer! Did you add the '#' character between `id` and `lastName`?

I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Please help.

You have some overlapping codes in the last 3 line; you can combine them into just one line

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();
