I would like to know generally should we be opening the link in same page or new tab or new window.

Courses Plus Student 7,139 PointsThe general consensus is to open a link in a new window if it is taking you outside of your website and subdomains of your website. There are many other reasons why you could go either direction with opening links in a new window or same window, but I know when i click a link that redirects me elsewhere and it overrides the current page i'm on, it becomes quite annoying. Just my opinion :)
Take care!
