after running npm init it generated a package.json and a package-lock.json. however neither of them had bcrypt as a dependency. After running the command
npm install colors --save
colors was added as a dependency, so i tried
npm install bcrypt --save
and that didnt work. any suggestions? also the node_module package folder was never created for me. here is my package.json
