Attempting to point to a collection unsucessfully

let listItems = ["rainbow"]; const colors = ["#C2272D", "#F8931F", "#FFFF01", "#009245", "#0193D9", "#0C04ED", "#612F90"];

for(var i = 0; i < colors.length; i ++) { listItems[i].style.color = colors[i]; }

It just ask to point to a collection called rainbow. Do I need more coffee

Hi Joe,

It looks like you aren't selecting the list items inside the unordered list to apply the styles to - listitems in your code is just an array with a single index, the string 'rainbow'. The intent is that you'll iterate over the contents of the ul with the id of rainbow.

Something along the lines of document.querySelectorAll("#rainbow li"); would complete this challenge.
