1,172 PointsAt this point, I want to check my syntax and progress
I want to make sure what I've written so far fits the challenge as far as syntax and logic. Not sure what the next step is yet, but I think I've done this correct so far.
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
while start = true:
num = random.randint(1,99)
if num % 2 == 0:
print("{} is even".format(num))
elif num % 2 != 0:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2

Code looks good. The challenge says to decrement start by 1 so you will need to add a statement to do that at the bottom of the loop. Other than that it looks solid.
