Hi, In the normalizeDiscountCode() method of Order.java , you want to throw an exception when the character is not a letter and is not a $ but here you are throwing the exception when the character is not a letter OR the character is not a $ instead . Means it will alway throw the exception if at least one of the two conditions is true Try the below rather :

private String normalizeDiscountCode(String discountCode){
    for(char letter:discountCode.toCharArray())
    {
      if(!Character.isLetter(letter) && (letter!='$'))
        throw new IllegalArgumentException("Invalid discount code");
    }

    return discountCode.toUpperCase();

  }
