Any suggestions

<?php class Fish { public $common_name; public $flavor; public $record_weight;

function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){ $this->name = $common_name; $this->flavor = $flavor; $this->record = $record; } } ?>

Hi Anika,

The property names you've referenced in the constructor don't match up with the ones you defined above, it should be.

<?php

class Fish {
    public $common_name;
    public $flavor;
    public $record_weight;

    function __construct($name, $flavor, $record) {
        $this->common_name = $common_name;
        $this->flavor = $flavor;
        $this->record_weight = $record;
    }
}

?>

Yeah... I figured THAT out...

what do you think about this? I guess I'm still missing something...

<?php class Fish { public $common_name; public $flavor; public $record_weight;

function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){ $this->common_name = $name; $this->flavor = $flavor; $this->record_weight = $record; } public function getInfo(){ return "Fish: ". $this->common_name, $this->flavor, $this->record_weight; } } $bass = new Fish("Largemouth Bass", "Excellent", "22 pounds 5 ounces.");

?>

The problem is the commas between the values which are invalid, PHP allows you to get the values of variables/properties when using double quotes so you can use something such as the following.

<?php

class Fish {
    public $common_name;
    public $flavor;
    public $record_weight;

    function __construct($name, $flavor, $record) {
        $this->common_name = $name;
        $this->flavor = $flavor;
        $this->record_weight = $record;
    }

    public function getInfo() {
        return "Fish: $this->common_name, $this->flavor, $this->record_weight";
    }
}

$bass = new Fish("Largemouth Bass", "Excellent", "22 pounds 5 ounces.");
echo $bass->getInfo();

?>

Got it. Thanks tons!
